Content Editor Policy: Compliance and Ethical Standards
This policy outlines the mandatory standards for content creation, editing, and publication, ensuring strict adherence to the law and ethical community standards. All Editors must comply with these rules without exception.
I. Mandatory Content Prohibitions
Any content that an Editor publishes, modifies, or promotes must NOT contain the following elements:
- Illegal Activities and Incitement: Absolutely no content that violates national laws, supports terrorism, promotes criminal acts, or undermines national security, public order, or social safety.
- Hate Speech and Severe Violence: Content that advocates for or incites violence, hatred, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality is strictly prohibited. This includes graphic depictions of severe violence, self-harm, or torture.
- Obscene and Explicit Material (18+): We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive material. This prohibition applies to images, videos, audio, and descriptive language.
- Defamation and Harassment: Content that slanders, defames, libels, or severely harasses any individual or organization, causing damage to their honor, reputation, or dignity, is forbidden.
- Promotion of Gambling: Explicitly banned are all forms of content that promote, facilitate, or advertise illegal gambling, betting, or wagering activities.
- Misinformation and Fake News: Editors must verify all facts. The dissemination of false, misleading, or fabricated information designed to cause panic, fear, or damage public trust is strictly prohibited.
- Intellectual Property Violation: Content must respect intellectual property rights. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of copyrighted material, trademarks, or proprietary information is not allowed.
II. Editor Responsibilities
The Editor serves as the final guardian of content quality and legality. Responsibilities include:
Vigilant Review: Proactively reviewing all material against the prohibitions listed in Section I before publication.
Immediate Reporting: Immediately reporting any detected violations of this policy.
Adherence to Guidelines: Strictly following all internal editorial guidelines, ethical codes, and professional standards set forth by the organization.
III. Enforcement and Penalties
Non-compliance with this policy will lead to immediate and severe disciplinary action.
Minor/First Violation: A formal written warning will be issued, and the content must be immediately removed or corrected.
Repeated Violations: The Editor’s account will be temporarily suspended (e.g., 7 to 30 days).
Zero-Tolerance Clause for Severe Violations
Any violation deemed severe (especially those related to Section I) will result in the following non-negotiable actions:
Permanent Account Termination: The Editor’s access and account will be permanently and irrevocably deleted from the system.
Legal Referral: Should the violation constitute a serious crime or a major breach of law, the details of the violation and associated user data will be immediately submitted to the relevant legal authorities for official investigation and prosecution under applicable law.
By accepting the role of Editor, you agree to comply fully with these terms and acknowledge that you bear professional and legal responsibility for the content you publish.
